Picture one makes me feel warm cuz its sunny...the 3rd pic, the thought that came to my mind was...Yuck and then I felt dread...is it a school?...kinda the same feeling for the last one. Picture 2 made me think of an airport/security or like ballet...i dont know why. lol
The first one made me feel like that girl was lonely, but not in a bad way, like she was contemplative. I'm not sure about the second one. It looks like a concert just got over, and people are happy that they went to this performance of some sort. Not that i can see happy people, but i just know how it feels when a show ends. The third one reminds me of summer; empty schools with no students, taking a sigh of rest and relief. I looove the last one; I love the autumn colors, the sunset (sunrise?), and the lone student, sitting there, enjoying the beautiful weather, studying for a school that he's worked hard to get into. The end. Thank you Mr. Neely.
1: Call me far fetched but that girl, whoever she may be, is on a mission. I don't see her as lonely, I see that she's ready to keep going on the path she's chosen. She is bound and determined to get where she's going, even if she has to get there alone. The empty space on the left filled with light is almost as if this girl is overcoming the shadow/bad things in her life or her inner self (featured on the left). "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." -Robert Frost
Also, Twilight.
2. For some reason this reminds me of voting. Order, repetition, waiting in line. It makes me feel like a little kid waiting in line since it's about at a little kids eye level. Reminds me of the movies and always wanting to get out of line or to swing on those even if the parents say no.
3. School. Middle School. Long hallways, many doors, short ceilings. The constant feeling of being trapped and wanting to get out. Somehow silent, dead silent, and clean which makes everything eery. Horror movie, perhaps?
4. School. College. Sunshine, happiness, possibility, and beautiful scenery. Wanting to be outside all the time even if you hate the outdoors. The student taking free time to prepare for his classes but in a place his head can be clear. Good feelings all around. Hooray trees!
